After nearly a month waiting for approval from the powers-that-be at Apple, Beijing 2008 is now for sale on the iBookstore in 32 countries. Pricing is very reasonable: $0.99 in the US, €0.49 in most of the Euro area and a level somewhere between these two everywhere else. In other words, it is as cheap I can offer it without it being free.
Beijing 2008 is an interactive iBook for iPad only. The photographs themselves are high-resolution for the new iPad’s retina display. In the appendices you can find detail technical information, photographers notes and a location map for each photograph. And there is a glossary
